My Honest Opinion: The Legend of Maula Jatt Review
The Legends of Maula Jatt is a Pakistani revenge action-thriller film directed by Bilal Lashari.
I have seen this Pakistani action thriller film recently, and overall whatever my opinion is after watching it, I am going to share it with you all.
This film has currently come with Punjabi language, maybe in the future, it will also be released in other languages like English, Urdu, Hindi, etc.
But the good thing is that English or Urdu subtitles are present here, so if you watch this film and you do not understand Punjabi, then with the help of subtitles you will be able to understand the things happening in the story better.
This film is a reboot of the 1979 cult classic Maula Jatt, but you don’t need to watch the old Maula Jatt movie at all before watching this one. You can watch this new Maula Jatt movie direct.
The Legend of Maula Jatt Review
According to me, this is a surprising, incredible, and remarkable Pakistani drama. And there are also some scenes, seeing which you may get Goosebumps in your body. There are also ear-pleasing dialogues.
Both the main lead characters of this film, Maula and Noori, enter in such a way that you will want to see the fight between them till the end.
When these two characters come in front of each other, the way there is a fight between them, I will only say mind-blowing.
And when you will get to hear the famous dialogues of the old classic Maula Jatt movie here, then the fun of watching this film will be doubled in itself.
It is appreciated that the creators of this film have not left any lack of action anywhere, yes you will get to see a lot of raw, real, intense, or brutal type of action in this movie.
And while the action is also very well choreographed or visualized, the cuts are very less.
Actor Performances
The actors’ performances are also very good here, especially Fawad Khan and Hamza Abbasi both shining in their respective characters. And I would also like to appreciate the looks of these two actors, the looks were very impressive.
Not only Fawad Khan or Hamza Abbasi but the performances of the rest of the actors were also very good.
I can say with confidence that you will not be disappointed with the actors’ performance.
The rest of the music was also played, which I did not find anything special. Most of the scenes in this film were shot in the dark of night, and some scenes have been darkened too much, which is why the faces of the actors in that particular situation are visible, which I do not like.
Weak Points
In my view, the romantic aspect of this film is useless because the romantic aspect does not add any special flavor to the story of this film.
The chemistry that is between Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan is not well established, I could not feel the love of these two very well.
And there was no special depth present in the character of Mahira Khan.
If creators removed the romantic aspect and focused on the backstory of Fawad Khan aka Maula Jatt, it would have been better, but no matter what happened, it was also fine.
The story of this film is quite engaging. The flow of the story was very good. The story will not bore you anywhere, but it is an old revenge story, due to which you will be able to predict some beats easily.
Conclusion
Overall, The Legend of Maula Jatt is an enjoyable and worthwhile experience to watch. If you want to watch this film, then you can go and watch it with your family.
